Brybeque Meatballs



For the Meatballs–
700g Beef mince
75g oats
200ml milk
1 small onion or ½ a large onion (very finely chopped)
1 tsp salt
ground black pepper
1 tsp coconut oil/ olive oil

For the Sauce-
1 tsp coconut oil/ olive oil
1 onion (chopped)
1 garlic clove
500g passata carton
2-3tbsp Brybeque Sauce
Grated cheese (optional)


  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Combine all the meatball ingredients in a bowl and form into small / medium sized balls.
  3. Place in a dish (loosely covered) and refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
  4. Whilst they are in the fridge, prepare the sauce – heat oil, and soften the chopped onion, add the garlic, passata, Brybeque sauce and heat through.
  5. Brown Meatballs in oil and place into baking dish.
  6. Pour the sauce over the meatballs along with the grated cheese if using, and bake at 180°C for 35-45 minutes.
